Loudoun helps launch new Emergency Radio System in Maine

For the first time ever, all state agency radio users across all departments and jurisdictions in Maine can communicate over a single, statewide emergency radio network!  Ed and Matt from Loudoun Communications were contracted by Harris to trouble shoot and help bring the system online.

This communications network is powered by Harris Corporation proven VIDA® (Voice, Interoperability, Data, Access) Network technology.  It provides statewide communication interoperability for more than 2,000 agency users, including state police, forest rangers, game wardens, correctional officers, and marine patrol personnel and other agencies. ‪
