What equipment is available?
Loudoun Communications offers Harris (M/A-COM), Kenwood, Vertex Standard, ICOM,GE MDS, and Phoenix Contact radios and equipment along with many other related products and accessories. We maintain a large stock of conventional radios, often allowing you to receive your radio the day after placing your order. When you purchase equipment from Loudoun, you have full tech support at your disposal. We stand behind everything we sell, giving you, the customer, choices.
Is maintenance service available?
Loudoun Communications provides a fully trained staff of service technicians to do on-site repairs and installations, as well as provide technical support. Our technicians average 20 years experience and are trained in the latest techniques and technologies available. Service needs are handled promptly, typically within 48 hours for non-emergency situations. System emergencies usually have same day service. With a maintenance contract, service is available 24 hours, 7 day per week.
What about repairing broken or damaged equipment?
We service all manufacturers to component level, stocking more than 4000 parts allowing repairs to be performed quickly and efficiently, in-house or in the field. We are the repair center for other radio shops and a number of manufacturers. Additionally, we stock batteries, antennas, belt clips and knobs to replace broken or worn out accessories.
I’ve heard Loudoun Communications offers specialty equipment. What does that include?
We engineer and manufacture many types of equipment including ES-5000DC, the newest configuration of our weather warning siren; FSA I-CALL Box, designed for fire station alerting; and IP-Extender, engineered to support console functionality, all built at our Douglasville, GA, location.
How can Loudoun Communications meet my overall system needs?
Loudoun engineers are available for on-site analysis in order to improve, upgrade or provide a new system. Our engineering data includes on-site testing, computer analysis and equipment, providing options for the best possible coverage accuracy.
