Harris Corporation announces release of the NEW XL-200P!

XL200-P HarrisHarris Corporation recently announced the release of their NEW LTE-Capable Multiband Portable Radio – the XL-200P, the smallest full-spectrum Long Term Evolution (LTE)-capable portable radio available.

  • Smaller, lighter and more advanced, the XL-200P boasts ease of use coupled with powerful audio capability – designed through extensive user research
  • Single to multi-band expansion, LMR to broadband access, voice and data capabilities, all in a single radio
  • Exceeds the most rigorous and rugged design specifications in the industry

With its all-new, ground-up design, the XL-200P portable radio is both advanced and extremely easy-to-use.  In this one full-spectrum radio, users now can have single- and multiband capability, which means they can start with single-band use and add bands over time without purchasing new equipment.  The XL-200P’s built-in LTE connectivity extends powerful voice Land Mobile Radio (LMR) public safety network coverage to deliver push-to-talk voice and data – including streaming video – to connect first responders anywhere broadband connectivity exists.

The XL-200P is available with a full or limited keypad in Midnight Black and High-Visibility Yellow. The easy-to-use user interface includes top and front color displays with big, bold text and labeled softkeys. Also standard is the one-button, voice playback feature that provides audio of your last incoming call.

The XL-200P design and feature set was guided by hundreds of firsthand interviews with law enforcement, fire, EMS and utility users across the country.  The result is a lighter, more compact radio design with a customizable and intuitive user interface.  With its unparalleled audio, “shift plus” extended battery life, standard Bluetooth®, GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity, the XL-200P is a game changer for public safety communications users.
